About Leon Westmoreland

My early work was almost entirely British landscapes. That kind of photography is patience-driven. I learned to read conditions, wait for them, work within them.

A trip to Nashville changed that. It was my first time shooting a city, and the first time I understood what photographers mean when they talk about light being different in another country. The blues and oranges I found there had nothing in common with the tones I was used to.

I came back with a different approach. I shoot what catches my eye and edit each image in a style that suits it. The range in my gallery reflects that.
