Human Trace: Part 2
I recently posted an article where I wrote about my exploration of the theme for this season's project, Human Trace. I set off with no particular expectations in mind, just me, my camera and my imagination. The skies were clear and the sun was beaming, so as I reflected on the following images, I decided they might suit a B&W conversion.

There were a couple of locations along the canal where people were clearly using the space on the bank to expand their available space. I don't think this was abandoned, but I don't know for certain. I suspect the owner of these items had taken their boat and headed out for the day.
This second image moves closer to what I'm imagining. It's a little more subtle and I'm left thinking about the last time the chair was sat in and how long it has been there.

I get a similar vibe from this third image, along with a hint of randomness and loss.

I like these three images and they certainly fit the brief. There’s clear evidence of human activity, but I think the subject in these images are too obvious for what I had in mind. I think I’m looking for a more subtle exploration of the theme, so I’ll go grab a pen and some paper and plan my next exploration!
